If you missed it last month, Washington Square Park continues to be the place to … tango this summer continuing every Tuesday in August! NYC has quite an active tango community; now that will include the Greenwich Village park for the rest of the month. And it’s free!
From the NYC Parks Department:
Join us four Tuesdays evening in August for a Taste of Tango! Make friends or dance with a new partner while enjoying live tango music, stories, and classes. Strictly Tango NYC Dance School brings the “authentic Buenos Aires Tango feeling” each week!
Join in, Tuesdays: August 9, 16, 23 & 30.
A Taste of Tango will take place at Holley Plaza (west of the Fountain) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Lots of Activities at WSP Summer 2016
There are many programs at Washington Square Park this summer, including yoga (for adults and kids), Tai Chi and more.
