Neighbor Ann McDermott and members of Greenwich Village Grapevine (a Facebook group, of course – it is now 2016) will host “A GOOD OLD-FASHIONED WSP HOOTENANNY” on Thursday, August 18th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Washington Square Park. Ann writes: “If you are so moved, bring a guitar or harmonica.” And bring yourselves – and so much more!

To learn more about the old-time hootenannys, check this recent Between the Liner Notes podcast, 3,000 Beatniks Riot in Greenwich Village, on the music tradition at Washington Square Park (WSP Blog was interviewed about the more recent years).
