The Free Britney movement has been seemingly everywhere this year as fans who have become activists have sought pop superstar Britney Spears’s freedom from the constraints of a 13 year conservatorship under the control of her father. The woman who inspired it all spoke publicly at a court hearing last month. It has raised the profile of the singer’s previously hidden plight as well as others under conservatorships/guardianships in the United States.
Spears’s next court hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 14th in Los Angeles. Rallies will again be held around the country and worldwide, including at Washington Square Park 4:30 p.m. near the Arch.
