The city was forced by two court rulings to release the architect’s 162-page report after it initially redacted one third of the documents.

Note: This site can relate after the Parks Department refused to submit certain documents in response to this blog’s FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) requests on the “formation” of Washington Square Park Conservancy in full — although what was received was still very damning, there was clearly more — and got snarky in their response back to our appeal. I was told later – it shouldn’t be this way, of course – that the only way to fight this is with a lawyer and legal action which the Fort Greene Park case shows.
