“Flowers for Empowerment” with inspirational quotes by notable women throughout history will be handed out and people will gather at Washington Square Park today, Friday, March 8th from 5 to 6 p.m. at Garibaldi Plaza, east of the fountain. Hosted by Healing in the City.
It likely won’t be as large as past years’ events, particularly 2017 when there was an International Strike called and masses of people gathered throughout the park, but it sounds quite … nice.
