
Musicians and fans from New York City and beyond will be gathering at Washington Square Park Saturday, November 28th to remember songwriter, musician and producer Allen Toussaint who died earlier this month.
The Jambalaya Brass Band will be among those performing at the funeral procession – New Orleans-style for Toussaint, who was based in New Orleans and renowned world-wide.
The funeral procession will begin at 12 noon at Holley Plaza, east of the Fountain, and continue along in a parade around the perimeter of the park.
