If you have been wondering what would happen next, after the Community Board meeting earlier this year where the Washington Square Park Conservancy answered some questions – tho’ not fully (and continued to dodge others), come to a follow-up meeting on Wednesday, November 5th.
Details:
COMMUNITY BOARD 2 PARKS/WATERFRONT MEETING
Wednesday, November 5th, 6:30 PM NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Place, between Washington Square East and Greene Streets, Room 208
Other items on the agenda include:
Presentation of the Jackson Square renovation plan by the Parks Department and an update by the Parks Department on in-process projects, including DeSalvio Playground, Father Fagan Park, DEP Water tunnel sites. And, Washington Square Park Conservancy update.
Also, earlier that day, the New York City Council Parks Committee will be holding a hearing at City Hall at 10 a.m. on the “Community Parks Initiative.” They would like to hear from YOU on what you feel is best for our city park system.
