Hi there! I run the dog runs in Washington Square Park and am a fan of your blog and newsletter for community information.
I was wondering if you would be interested in mentioning our upcoming Halloween Parade and Costume Contest for dogs on Sunday October 29? It will take place at the fountain area (we’ve outgrown the dog run). Preregistration starts at 10:45, the parade and contest start at noon, and the event ends at 2pm.
Seems like we could all use a little fun news these days so I thought I would reach out and see if it is of interest. We anticipate more than 100 dogs in costume, hundreds of spectators, we’ll have sketch artists and even a dog psychic on hand as well as adoptable pups from Animal Haven, treats, raffles and greet and treat with sponsors.
Thanks for your consideration and keep up the good work!
