The World Science Festival returns to Washington Square Park Sunday, June 1st with its “Ultimate Science Street Fair” and will undoubtedly wow visitors yet again with information, exhibits and hands-on and interactive experiences about Space, Weather, Robots & More — brought to you by institutions like NASA, the Liberty Science Center, and NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration).
Look for the World Science Festival in the Eastern end of the park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As a space exploration geek, I get a chuckle out the fact they still refer to Bobak Ferdowsi as “Mohawk Guy” for the hairstyle he wore the day Curiosity landed on Mars. One of the happiest accomplishments of this decade and yet people’s attention went straight to one guy’s haircut!
That’s funny, Richard. I don’t know anything about Bobak Ferdowsi (by name at least). But I get what you are saying! Too much.
