A Look at Washington Square Park This Week – Part II(Photos)

Washington Square Park‘s long-under-construction North West Quadrant — which includes the Fountain and Plazawill be opened somewhat anticlimactically as pieces of the Fence are removed. Which seems sort of fitting. This will likely happen within the next two weeks. Although there are definitely mixed feelings about what went down thus far, it’ll be exciting to have the whole Park open and access to the Fountain again! There will be some kind of ‘grand opening’ ceremony after the Fence comes down. Stay tuned for news about that. In the meantime, photos of the current status of the Park follow…
