As of yesterday, the fences came down signaling the long-awaited close to Washington Square Park Redesign construction after six years (except for the sidewalks, work on which will not begin until the summer). The “Mounds” are open and the Park-Comfort Station-Admin-Offices-NYPD building is unwrapped but not open yet. More details to come shortly.
