Next year, I think the Christmas/holiday tree should be planted IN the park as they did in 1924 versus a disposable tree that is transplanted from Vermont and just gets “chipped.” No reason why not. It could possibly be planted to the west, a bit south of the Arch and then that could be the tree that is decorated. No?
And the carols could also be projected on the Arch as they did then also. Let’s return to the idea of “reuse.” (See previous posts on tree.)
